New SPA Planning Schemes came into force today for Cairns Regional Council and Somerset Regional Council. Cairns Regional Council's new 'CairnsPlan 2016' has replaced 'CairnsPlan 2009' and Somerset Regional Council's 'Somerset Region Planning Scheme 2014' replaces the former 'Esk Shire Planning Scheme 2005' and former 'Kilcoy Shire Council Planning Scheme 2006'.
